The future is going to be dominated by automation in machines. Still, some human features and skills will be in demand. Alexey Kulakov, JetStyle’s CEO, has a huge experience of mentoring designers and collaborating with AI; he’s outlined a list of irreplaceable human skills that ensure our relevance in the future:
👁 reflexion — the ability to analyze one’s own experience;
👁 generalization — the ability to make conclusions from observations;
👁 the speed of learning new tools;
👁 the ability to give and receive feedback to and from colleagues;
👁 the ability to model people’s experience and behavior via user scenarios.
Alexey tells a lot about how a designers’ profession is intertwined with AI in a series of articles, see links to parts 1 and 2 below.
In part 3, Alexey will share his vision on the future of user experience design, and will present his typology of designer roles. The typology is based on the way a specialist perceives information and approach to skills development. If a designer fits into either of the roles, they are less likely to lose their jobs to robots.
